Oct. 15th 2026:

A framed illustration of a cat in a night forrest scene, looking at the moon, moody. He is black with yellow eyes that match the moon. It is oil pastels

This piece made it safely to Oregon where it will be part of the set of a stop motion animation short!

It will live above the couch in the living room

of the main character.

I will share more as soon as I can!

August 2026:

an oil painting of a bartender counting the till, closing the bar at night. It's low light and moody with wood tones

I booked my biggest commission yet and this one is near and dear to my heart.

My former boss and forever inspiration, wants a painting for her bar and restaurant. It will be of me closing down the very bar  where I spent the last 18 years of my life. I learned so much there. My fondest memories are of those late nights: 2am, the last guest gone, the restaurant is finally quiet. I always found something wildly romantic about having the whole place to myself.

Back in 2012, she commissioned me to paint a similar scene for another retiring bartender, and now all these years later, it's my turn!

Above is that piece "Closing Time" 2012, oil on canvas

July 2026:

Painting of 2 beautiful wives happy with one kissing the other's cheek on their wedding day. 2 humming birds look on. It's an oil painting

Another happy customer and a whole lotta love!

This commission was a surprise 10th wedding anniversary gift from a thoughtful friend who wanted to celebrate a very special couple.

The mission? Capture their infectious joy, playful spirits, and that wonderful childlike magic they bring to the world.

10 years of marriage, countless adventures, and still kids at heart.

Now that's something to paint!

April 2026:

Yay! A gorgeous little pug and his duckie are now forever adorable in Monterey!

April 2026:

A friend came to me for a very sweet and personal commission.

A picture of him and his son walking toward the Edmund Winston Pettus bridge in Selma, Alabama.

This work is still in progress so stay tuned!
